Why I started SLR Journal

SLR Journal starts with two articles. This one explains what you can do here. The other is a guide to the SLR CORE websites, so you can find the right app without opening every link.

I’m Lakshmisha, the founder of SLR CORE. I wanted a place to publish explanations alongside the apps: room for a worked example, a few screenshots, or a question that needs more than a short answer. That is the job of this journal.

What belongs here

The subjects I want to cover include technology, agriculture, economics, entertainment, and sports. For now, only the two opening articles are published. A category in the navigation is a way to organise future work; it does not mean there is already reporting behind every tab.

The format will depend on the subject. A software article might show a small piece of code and explain its output. An agriculture article needs the market, date, variety, and unit beside a price. An opinion should make clear where the facts end and the author’s view begins.

Those details matter more to me than making every post look like breaking news. This is a small publication being built one article at a time.

Finding something to read

Start on the home page for the featured article, or open All articles to browse the collection. Search looks at titles, descriptions, categories, and keywords. It does not currently search every word inside an article.

For example, search for “browser tools” to find the SLR CORE guide. Choose Technology to narrow the results. You can also change the sort order. The search and category stay in the URL, so you can bookmark a useful view.

Each article has its own numbered address. This is article 1. Reloading the page or sending its link to someone opens the same article, without needing an account. The sidebar links to sections on the page and to another article you might want to read next.

A place for your response

There is a comment form below each opening article. A display name is optional. You can ask a question, disagree with a point, or mention something the article missed. You do not have to register.

Submitting a comment does not publish it immediately. Comments wait for review before other readers can see them. Your IP address is recorded privately for abuse prevention, not displayed next to your words. The privacy and comment policy explains what is kept and for how long.

If a factual detail is wrong, please include the detail and a source that helps check it. You can also send the article URL to slrcoregroups@gmail.com. A useful correction is welcome even when it changes the conclusion.

A small first edition

The next publishing feature is a private editor for adding and updating articles. It is still planned work. There is no reader account to create and no subscription to buy here.
